There's a part in there where he mentions the town I live in. It's small but known for it's pot, and he wiggles the bag of marijuana and says, "Humboldt County?" Haha.
LOL that's something to be well known for I guess! Wonder boys is the greatest...whenever I start feeling in the dumps about my writing I just watch it and think...atleast I'm not Grady Tripp ...yet.
ARGH! I HATE that movie. It was filmed on campus my last year at college. Yes, that film made it so that we had to have classes in fricking trailers in January in Pittsburgh because they had Donner Hall closed. They also melted all the snow that fell with heat lamps ... only to put down layers and layers of fake snow two days later. Fake snow got into EVERYTHING. They took up all the parking, of which very little existed anyways, and caused me to get at least two tickets due to their "reserving" parking spots without posting notices. That film made life hellish for a semester and a half. And you know the real kicker? The entire time in the film, the university is supposed to be U. Pitt ...which is right down the street from CMU, so why the hell couldn't they film there?!?!
I love that movie, love it. I loan it to everyone, watch it like once a month at least. I have the book(which I owned first) almost memorized. It's actually 1000% better than the movie even.
