She looks comfortable up there and not really concerned about all creatures down there below watching her. She's probably hungry and came for the dog food she could get to but the dogs noticed her, so she climbed up there to wait until dark. Surprised to see a opossum out in the day time. She looks healthy enough and her tits are full of milk, so she'll have to get down soon to let the little ones come out to feed. They usually are nocturnal and bright light hurts their eyes, makes it hard for her to see, so she'll just wait until it's dark enough to climb down. Don't be surprised if she and her young ones hang around and show themselves more often since you didn't try to harm her. She'll be like a new stray pet, that comes to clean up all the food and trash scraps.
Really good job on the pictures. You got some good shoots of her. I especially like how you got clear close ups of her. She reminds me of Poggie. I sure miss that little guy every time I see one of these critters.
